Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this gorgeous Large 18th Century Rosewood Austrian French Louis XV Style Commode / Dresser / Chest. The commode features impressive inlay on sides, drawers, and the top, all done in unusual exotic wood – see photos. This chest has ample storage space with two large drawers with their original gilt bronze handles, and two smaller drawers above them with keyhole escutcheon in the middle. Commode is displaying a beautiful, rich and vivid color wood, fine late 18th century example, this one with a shiny finish. Bronze mounts are of the best possible quality. Chest is in good used condition, showing age / use wear, recently refinished to shine (please see photos). Size is large and perfect to fit anywhere 49.25″ wide x 24″ deep x 37.75″ in height. Awesome piece ready to grace any traditional or mid-century modern setting!
